Back in 2019 when Push Gaming released Razor Shark, it became an instant hit among slot players in the UK. Now the sequel Razor Returns has been released, and it’s a big one. In Razor Returns you can win up to 100,000x your stake, making it one of the best paying online slots up to date.
The slot also comes with a lot of different features and symbols, so that is what we will focus on in this review of Razor Returns. Other things we will look at include its RTP, some strategies that you can use, and its advantages and disadvantages. RAZOR RETURNS RTP AND FEATURES
The RTP of Razor Returns is 96.55% given that you play with the Push Bet feature. If you don’t, it’s 96.16%. Since the average slot RTP is around 96%, both options are still decent. It should be mentioned that Razor Returns has adjustable RTP ranges, so at a few sites it may be lower.

Features in Razor Returns:
- Push Bet – activate this feature to add an extra 10% to your bet and increase the RTP from 96.15% to 96.55%. Push Bets also increases your chances of winning the game’s top prize from 1 in 397,360,429 to 1 in 27,036,048, so we highly recommend using this feature.
- Mystery symbols – can land on the reels in stacks of 5 in both the base game and the free spins round. When they do, the Nudge & Reveal feature gets activated.
- Nudge & Reveal feature – once triggered, the mystery symbols will open and reveal either paying symbols, Wild Shark symbols or Golden Shark symbols.
- Free spins – land 3 or more torpedo scatter symbols to trigger the free spins round which gives you 6 free spins with multipliers. The more scatters you land, the higher the initial multiplier will be when you begin the round. 3 scatters give you a 1x initial multiplier, 4 scatters a 5x initial multiplier and 5 scatters allow you to begin with a 25x multiplier!
- Wilds – the Golden Tooth Shark acts as the game’s wild symbol and it can substitute for all other symbols except for torpedo scatter symbols, instant prize symbols and mystery symbols.

More about the Razor Reveal feature:
If the mystery symbols open and reveal Golden Shark symbols you will activate the Razor Reveal feature. Every Golden Shark will then reveal one of the following symbols:
- Instant prize symbols – reveals an instant prize of between 1x to 5,000x your bet.
- Collector symbol – collects the value of all instant prize symbols and then transforms into an instant prize symbol at the end of the current spin. Once all instant prizes have been collected the empty positions on the reels will spin again and reveal more prizes.
- Multiplier symbol – multiplies all instant prize symbols and collector symbols by 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x.
- Converter symbol – spins through the pay symbols that are on the reels, and when one of them lands, all pay symbols of the same type transform into Golden Shark symbols. The Razor Reveal feature then continues.
- Nudge up symbol – you can only land this symbol in the free spins feature. Each one will nudge up the Mystery Stacks by 1 position.
MAXIMUM PAYOUTS
The maximum payout in Razor Returns is 100,000x your original stake. You can therefore win up to £10,000,000 if you play with the maximum bet of £100.
