With a magical theme which reminds SlotsHawk of the Harry Potter films, Fire Gnomes is a fantasy themed slot game which utilises Crazy Tooth Studio’s BigBuild Up feature. In truth, we actually recommend playing Candy Elves slot which is essentially a much improved version of Fire Gnomes.

FIRE GNOMES: FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Before playing Fire Gnomes, we were testing the aforementioned Candy Elves so the first thing we realised is that these slot games are almost the exact same slots but with different themes. However, Fire Gnomes was released prior to Candy Elves and after playing both slots, we quickly came to the opinion that Candy Elves is the superior slot simply because the hit frequency is higher making it easier to trigger higher payouts.
Despite stacking up the BigBuild Up feature, we struggled to trigger the side reel features with the frustration of the spell book symbols always vanishing rather than triggering anything. In addition, we did not manage to trigger the bonus game which is done by hitting two scatter symbols on reels 1 and 4 only.
Overall, we lost around £38 during our 16 minute session.

BIGBUILD UP
The BigBuild Up feature allows you the opportunity to stock up on extra features which then have the chance to land on the reels randomly from any given spin. This ensures that the longer you play, the more chance you have of hitting bigger rewards.
To trigger any of the features on the side reels, you need to land a spell book or rocket symbol and hope that they don’t disappear into thin air and instead, shoot themselves at the side reel features. It is possible to trigger multiple side reel features at once.
FIRE GNOMES BONUS GAME
The bonus game is triggered when you land two scatter symbols. Be aware that scatters can only land on reels one and four. We did not manage tot rigger the bonus game during our playthrough.
