Push Gaming is really hot right now. Having released Samurai’s Katana less than a month ago, they are now pushing another slot release. Just like its predecessor DJ Fox, DJ Cat comes with a groovy music theme, a “win what you see” feature and a top prize of 10,000x the bet.
In this review of DJ Cat we will look closer at the slot’s RTP, features, payouts, the good and the bad and some strategies that you can use. Join us!
DJ CAT RTP AND FEATURES
The most important part to highlight of DJ Cat is its RTP as you can get different RTP rates depending on where you play. While the default RTP of DJ Cat is 96.32%, most online casinos will use the lowered RTP version of 94.03%. Since the online slot average is around 96%, we only consider the default RTP version to be good.
It is also worth highlighting that DJ Cat has a slightly higher RTP than its predecessor (96.32% vs 96.28%), so it is a tiny bit better from that perspective. Compared to other Push Gaming slots, DJ Cat is somewhere in the middle as there are many that have both higher and lower RTPs.

WIN WHAT YOU SEE
The “win what you see” feature is back, and it works exactly the same as in DJ Fox. The regular symbols are displayed as numeric values between 0x to 0.9x the bet and are calculated from left to right. If two or more regular symbols land next to each other, you win a 2 or more multi digit payout. There are also Dud symbols in play which carry zero value and work as blockers.

When an Arrow Symbol lands it activates the next row and then disappears from the reels.
THE VIP SYMBOLS AND THE MULTIPLIER METER
When a VIP or Double VIP Symbol lands on the reels, it is collected to the Multiplier Meter. Depending on how many rows you are playing, you can get different multiplier values. These are the possible outcomes:

- Row 2 – 1x, 3x, 5x and 10x multipliers

- 4 rows – Pay 7.5x the original bet to activate row 2, 3 and 4
- 5 rows – Pay 10x the original bet to activate all 5 rows

The maximum payout in DJ Cat is 10,000x the bet. We consider this to be a respectable top prize as it is above the market average. At the same time, it is not anything outstanding as there are many online slots on the UK market with payouts above 50,000x the bet.
STRATEGIES FOR PLAYING DJ CAT SLOT
DJ Cat is a completely luck based slot, so there are no strategies that will guarantee wins. There is only one active feature that will change the gameplay, and that is the Push Up feature.
By using it, you increase the number of active rows which increases your chances of hitting big wins. However, it comes with an added cost of between 2.5x to 10x your original stake, so that is something to keep in mind as it can easily become a very expensive strategy.
