January is usually a great month on the slots calendar because the nights are long and cold. This means that more of us are sitting inside, in the warmth, playing our favourite slots. Therefore, if you are reading this because you are on the lookout for new slots to potentially play, then great. Below, we have listed our most anticipated slots which will be released in January 2025.

ONLINE SLOT TRENDS IN JANUARY 2025

You need not feel the January blue’s thanks to the bucketload of excellent slots ready for you this month. We expect the trend in 2025 to be unchanged from 2024 – slot games with top-tier graphics and a littering of modern slot features. NoLimit City will continue their trend from last year in the form of two new slot releases per month. January will witness the release of xWays Hoarder 2 and Tombstone Slaughter – two slots with incredibly high variance which are not for the faint of heart. Both slots are new versions of previous slots, which is fine, especially given that their Tombstone series is a good one. Both games will be released on 14th and 28th January, respectively.

Thor’s Hammer Time from Reflex Gaming (not to be confused with the slot of the same name by NoLimit City), is one we are excited about because Reflex Gaming do not release new slots very often. We enjoy slots with mythological themes and this one will have a 10,000x maximum payout. We are also pleased to announce that this January will see another release from Peter and Sons with Epic Hellas, another myth themed slot. They will be released on 9th and 23rd January, respectively.

Both Pragmatic Play and Red Tiger will be releasing more online slots this month too. We are particularly excited for Wild Hot Chilli Reels 2 which should be a hit for those of you who enjoy playing low variance slots. The Chilli Wild is the main feature in this one which is able to expand across the entire grid.
