It should not come as a real surprise to learn that Ugga Bugga scores lowly on the features section. Book of 99 is nothing to write home about either regarding its features, but it does outshine Ugga Bugga.
Ugga Bugga is rather unique in the fact that it has a Multi-Spins feature. No other slot game we can think of has this feature and it is fun as it means that you get the opportunity to match symbols on multiple reels and rows.

Although both slot games are top-tier regarding the RTP rates, it is the payouts which let them down slightly. As you should know, maximum payouts and RTP are two different things.
Ugga Bugga has a maximum multiplier payout of 1,000x as well as an RTP of 99.07%. On the other hand, Book of 99 has a higher maximum payout of 4,000x, but a slightly lower RTP of 99%, compared to Ugga Bugga.
We have given an extra point to Book of 99 because it has a 4 times bigger payout in comparison with Ugga Bugga and although Ugga Bugga has a higher RTP, it is only slightly higher.

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room – Ugga Bugga from a graphics point of view is certainly dated. It was released over a decade ago, so it is no fault of its own and back then, technology was limited in comparison with what we see in the online slots world today. However, Ugga Bugga is still playable today, it works well and has excellent mechanics.
Book of 99 is a much more modern slot, having been released in 2022 and it certainly offers better graphics then Ugga Bugga. With that being said, there are certainly slots with more sophisticated graphics out there, but in a comparison with Ugga Bugga, Book of 99 takes the win.
Book of 99 has decent playability too, albeit it can become rather tedious and filling up the play meter with 99 wild symbols takes a while!

Unfortunately, Ugga Bugga is not widely available. There are very few British slot sites which actually have Ugga Bugga in their libraries.

It is a clear victory here for Book of 99. Unfortunately the age and lack of availability has let down Ugga Bugga. It may be the highest RTP slot game of all time, but that cunts for little when there is no casino which actually offers you the possibility to play for real money.
Book of 99 on the other hand, can be played at a decent number of online casino’s in the UK and is a good all around slot with its main advantage of having a 99% RTP. You should also take into account that whereas Ugga Bugga has low volatility, Book of 99 is a high volatility slot.
