Is it our imagination or do we not get many new slot games from Big Time Gaming anymore? Nevertheless, we are pleased that Boo is just that – a new slot game from Big Time Gaming!
Boo is a slot with a spooky/horror theme, so we are not entirely sure why they have released it in September and not October right before Halloween, but never mind. In this Boo slot review, we intend to tell you everything you need to know so that you can make an informed decision whether to play for real money or not.

BOO: FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The theme revolves around plenty of multi-coloured grim-grinning ghosts. Boo is a super simple slot to play and understand. There are no complicated mechanics. The Ghost symbols are the ones which will get you paid and the cascading reels (tumble) feature gives the possibility of multiple wins from a single spin. The Rainbow ghost symbols will increase your multipliers if they are combined with a win and three or more scatter symbols (grinning pumpkins) will trigger the bonus game.
In truth, we found this slot a little tedious, the restarting of the soundtrack upon every spins did not help either. However, this would be a nice slot to play around Halloween due to its theme. We did not trigger many wins, but boo is a high variance game so that is not too surprising.
We managed to trigger one Boo bonus game thanks to the tumble feature. This awarded us with 12 free spins which were worth 20p each given that’s how much we were betting. We only managed to win £3.86 following the spins though, which disappointed us.
Overall, we finished our session with a total loss of £7.38.
BOO: SLOT FEATURES
There are a few decent features here, but nothing to get too excited over. We outline them for you below.
TUMBLE FEATURE
The Tumble feature is active here in both the base and bonus game and allows for multiple wins per spin. In addition, when a winning symbol explodes, it is always replaced by either a scatter, ghost symbol or Wild symbol meaning that bigger payouts are more likely for every win which occurs. The Rainbow coloured ghosts are the wild symbols.
FREE SPINS
During the free spins (which are triggered when you match three or more Pumpkin symbols on the reels), three or more scatters will award an additional three spins. In addition, you will receive multipliers on ghost symbols and wilds.
Unfortunately, we only won a small amount during our free spins round during our playthrough.
